HSE Approved First Aid at Work, Appointed Person & Manual Handling Training
From 1st October 2005, Ambuline will open it’s training department to businesses and the general public for the very first time.
Public Courses
Courses are run on a regular basis at our ambulance headquarters in Dudley, West Midlands (see specific course for details). We limit the number of delegates per course to ensure a more personal learning experience, giving you a better opportunity to practice and feel comfortable with your new skills.
Business & Group Courses
You are probably aware that the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 requires employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed.
Employers should carry out an assessment of first aid needs to determine what is adequate including whether appointed persons or trained first aiders are required and how many.
We understand that time off for staff training can present a challenge to some businesses, especially when also trying to cover sickness, annual leave and other absences. If this affects you, contact our who will look into providing a tailor-made training package
that will help satisfy your obligations around your
business requirements.
Individuals can be booked to attend regular
courses at our headquarters (as per public
courses described above). If preferred
(subject to numbers), we can provide training
on business or group premises or at an available
venue of your choice. Please contact our
